Practice directions

Four ways we work with you

Each direction is handled by the same lawyer from first call to final signature.

I.

Legal analysis

We examine your documents and circumstances and set out where the real risk sits. You receive a written opinion with clear options, not a lecture.

II.

Document drafting

Contracts, corporate resolutions, claims and settlement papers drafted to hold up under scrutiny. Every clause is written for your situation rather than copied from a template.

III.

Transaction support

We accompany purchases, share transfers and commercial agreements from due diligence to closing. Negotiations are handled with your commercial interests kept in view.

IV.

Consultations

Single sessions for a specific question, in person at Am Wall or by video call. You leave with a written summary and a recommended next step.

Thornbury Chambers office in Bremen
About the chambers

A quarter century at Am Wall

Thornbury Chambers opened its doors in Bremen in 2001 with a simple working rule: take fewer matters and give each one proper attention. That rule has held through twenty-five years and more than a thousand contracts and files.

Our clients are Hanseatic trading houses, family businesses, property owners and private individuals who want to understand their position before they act. We explain the law in plain language and put the reasoning in writing.

  • One responsible lawyer for the whole matter, from intake to conclusion
  • Fee estimates agreed in advance and confirmed in writing
  • Correspondence in German and English, with EU cross-border experience
How we work

Four steps, no surprises

01

First conversation

You describe the situation and we tell you honestly whether we can help.

02

Review of papers

We read the file, gather what is missing and identify the decisive facts.

03

Written strategy

You receive options, likely costs and a recommendation before anything is filed.

04

Execution

We draft, negotiate or represent you, and report at every meaningful stage.
